I hate the All-Big East teams because they put 11 men on the first team. I realize they have 16 teams to choose and there will be howling over who is left off, but 11 on the team is ridiculous.

Aaron Gray made the 1st team as a unanimous selection. Levance Fields was selected to the second team.

*denotes unanimous selection

That’s just too many names. It’s at least 2 too many for the first team. Sumpter, Young and Hamilton were definitely not first teamers. You know they put too many slots out there when you look at the rookie group and see Hasheem Thabeet on the list.

You can’t be serious when you say Sumpter did not deserve to be on the First Team. He was 3rd in points and 10th in rebounds in the league.

The next time someone tries to tell you how much the coaches know, please refer to when they vote on things like this.

Collin Falls? Efejuku was probably better than Collin Falls this year. Frank Young? Devendorf?!?! I know Dominic James played reasonably well against us, but he stunk the whole year.

Darris Nichols and Darryl Watkins both had great years and didn’t even make honorable mention.

Is it me, or is it sad to only have two players on this list from the team that was the unanimous preseason choice to win the conference?

Man, I really, really hope this team busts out for the BET.

James shoulda been a 2nd teamer……McNeal shoulda been on the firs team. Jerel was brilliant in league games this year — DJ too inconsistent to warrant a first team selection.
