It’s a time to leave it all out there after last week.
Literally got to the press box just before kickoff. A 3:30 kickoff and a chance to be with friends for some real time. It was all the reasons why I have been coming to Pitt games for the last 20+ years. And I’ll be damned if I was going to cut it short.
Do I have unreasonable/irrational optimism? Yeah. Is it substance enhanced? I don’t think so, but I’m not voluntarily submitting to any tests.
I came here daily even when it was dormant. I wish I could express myself as well as Chas on the blather, Mike at the POV & of course Reed. All passionate in their own way.
Narduzzi really is genuine and relates to his players and this team did not quit or give up at all and fought through the injuries and mistakes today.
GREAT WIN!!
I rarely comment anymore because too much negativity by bloggers that have very little knowledge on what coaching really is and continue to beat things to death. PSU is a very good team and so are the Panthers, they will be competitive this season.
H2P
By the way, UNC lost to App State yesterday.
Now he’s transferring. If Narduzzi had any humbility he would talk to Mychale and say they made a mistake and he still can come back.
He is the future of Pitts’s RB’s. Like to see him and Sydell in the same backfield. Back to smash mouth football rather than backs that are slow to the line, can not break an arm tackle, and have no footwork. Pitt is no longer RB U playing carter, barely a D1 player, and Davis Jr D1 backup, possibly.
