7pm.
First off, thanks to Justin for covering for me on the last two open threads. Waiting for bail money is— This past weekend was my son’s Boy Scout Thanksgiving camping trip. It’s held in a cabin (thankfully, and not in tents). It involves all the families coming out on Saturday for a dinner prepared by the kids. Somehow convinced my wife to switch with me for the second day so I just got to town on Saturday for the football game before running back home just in case our teenage daughter got any ideas about things with no parents around on a Saturday night. That’s the story I’m using and you can’t shake me.
Two strong and relatively easy wins. As has been noted, even in Pitt’s biggest patsy games in the past two years, their biggest margin of victory was 21 — against McNeese State last year. Hardly much of a way to measure the changes, but there is something to be said about burying a team by 39.
Tonight it is Troy and they are predicted to be middle-of-the-pack in the Sunbelt. A bit better then YSU would be the way to look at them. The Panthers are playing their third game within a week.
After struggling to hit any outside shots in the first game, Pitt had their way on the perimeter against VMI on Friday.
Jared Wilson-Frame on fire again. Glad he decided to stay…
Troy is the best free throw shooting team I have seen in years. Our youngsters play with intensity and seem to be enjoying themselves.
Coach C knows that he needs to recruit some tall trees and I firmly believe he will get them!!
