Sorry, it’s been a week — and it stayed that way.
During the game this past week, a lot of frustration with QB Max Browne. I’m not in favor of benching him and moving on at this point. Head Coach Pat Narduzzi has made it clear that isn’t going to happen.
I don’t believe he is a bad quarterback. But he definitely is not as good as Nate Peterman or Tom Savage. There are clearly some limitations on him, beyond his, uh, limited mobility. The most glaring is the way his passes tend to sail. It works on longer throws where the receiver has time to get under them. When it comes to being in the redzone or making shorter passes…
At the same time, let’s be realistic. Ben DiNucci isn’t Sam Darnold.
On a different note.
Sorry about all the comment glitches. I quite literally have had no time to find/figure out what is going on with that. They all show up on my feed and even if I access PittBlather directly. I am going to guess that the old creaky visual format that this site use is at its breaking point. I may have to do something kind of radical to the format. So if the visual layout shifts radically in the next couple weeks, bear with me.
Ok do you know Savannah Panther?
He bought a few of us tickets, if you are interested in getting together with us drop me a text or call at 214-912-6638.
I guess when you are this outclassed you get no calls at all.
H2P!!!
Still embarrassing.
H2P!!!
Shame is… he should have been starting all along.
And that’s plenty GOOD for me!
H2P!!!
Next stop, how do we fix the defense?
H2P!!!
You heard it here first.
Actually been saying it for a awhile.
HILARIOUS!
My money is on Heather pulling the trigger sooner rather than later.
Take Conner away… and Blewitt… and Narduzzi really has nothing to show for himself.
H2P!!!
However, I was against the hiring of the current Coach from the beginning and posted as much.
“No to Narduzzi” was my mantra way back then.
Truly wish I had been wrong.

The 800 LB Gorilla…
Unless Pitt commits to building an ON-CAMPUS Stadium… Pitt Football is DEAD!
Yes… it’s that simple.
********
As for an OCS, while I support the concept wholeheartedly, there is little likelihood of that happening. Unless private funds are raised to support it, the University will not spend the money.
H2P!!!
PittDad… you give a totally PRACTICAL response.
Mine is totally emotionally… but more right than wrong.
The University of Pittsburgh has systematically screwed up the program for the last 35 years including poor hiring and questionable firings, moving off campus was the cheap way out. Right now we are mediocre at best regarding football and basketball. Is the season lost? No but it is looking like maybe 6 wins and the pizza bowl in Detoilet.
H2P!!!
Which team will win more games?
At this point, I’m going with hoops.
Where Pitt Fans near and far would gather,
Then with a blink everything Pitt Sports began to stink,
And Chas began to say “Why bother?”
