Reed has killed it for football coverage this spring. Much, much appreciation.
I’ll be making my first Blue-Gold game in far too long. Going as a fan/parent (bringing the boy with me) for this one. Hopefully I’ll be able to convince the kid to let me stop by for at least one drink before all the other activities.
I had been hoping Pitt would be unveiling and selling (read: taking my money) the new Script Pitt gear this Saturday. Unfortunately, that seems to be a month away.
Pitt’s event to unveil its new script logo, apparel and uniforms will be May 18. Details, such as the location and specific items to be released, are still to be announced.
On the bright side, content in May.
Still going to be a question of attendance despite the projected perfect weather for Saturday. Naturally the NHL scheduled Game 2 of the Rangers-Pens playoff for 3pm at the Con. A mere 2pm after the start of the scrimmage.
Even when the interest in Pitt football is growing, it just feels like a conspiracy by the pro leagues to keep it down. Pass the tinfoil, please.
Let’s not disappoint “Pat from Pittsburgh.”
Not to be negative but, Pitt lost 4 out of its last 5 and has a tough start after Villanova. Hopefully the new guy can get the offense humming, because the defense may be very weak up the middle again.
Realistically, I expect a 2 and 2 start … 3 wins would be fantastic

New Pitt coach Kevin Stallings will hire Georgetown’s Kevin Sutton, sources told ESPN. Jeremy Ballard and Sutton great additions to staff.
wbb, agree that they were tough opponents, but we were not competitive, especially vs Navy.
Looks like he did OK for himself
