A win won’t get either team into the NCAA Tournament, but it certainly knocks them down to the NIT.

As mentioned earlier, it is Senior Night for Pitt. Those of you going, please get there soon to help send off the seniors before the game.
Miami has announced that Sheldon McClellan and Angel Rodriguez will not play tonight. Significant as they are their two leading scorers. Both are guards, so this significantly changes what Miami will be doing tonight.
Both Rodriguez and McClellan attack the basket. The rest of the guards are not nearly as good or as frequent at doing that. Instead, expect their guards to take a lot more 3s and jumpers. A lot more one-on-one play on the Miami offense. Their frontcourt will be looking for rebounds and putbacks even more than usual, as nearly half the assists generated per game by Miami will be on the bench tonight.
Miami plays a lot of players, so while they will be without two of their top players they aren’t going to be playing a 6-man rotation.
Every reason Pitt should win this tonight, so I’m going to be stressing that they find a new and inventive way to do it all game. Aren’t I?
Which bubble team cannot afford a loss this weekend?
Andy Katz: Pitt. The Panthers cannot afford to lose to Florida State and expect a bid. Pitt may need to do more in the ACC tournament, too.
We need to win today on the road. If we do it we still have a chance at the NCAA’s
