Enjoy!

While you are at it enjoy this also!

OK – one more a bit lengthier.  Want to know why I though Durham’s penalty was kind of a big deal.  Listen to HCPC at the 1:10 mark talking about senior leadership.

Nice look at our seniors. All of them are already graduated or on track. All of them make a good appearance and do PITT proud.

Strange enough the former walk-on Adam Lezenga appeared to have the strongest personality among the group, with Ray Vinopal & the massive TJ Clemmings pretty close behind.

Thx for posting Reed.

Thx Reed it’s easy to root for this class of seniors after all they’ve been thru, I think HCPC understands that and has a close bond with these and all the kids that play for him, it’s not surprising to see the higher ranked recruits starting to pay attention to Pitt and for those who choose to go elsewhere they probably arn’t fit for the atmosphere that seems to be building at Pitt.

The long run by Conner and his last TD appeared to be the same play, the TD run was wide open and only cut short by the goal line. Whatever that play is its going to produce a ton of yardage for our stable of backs.

Voytik is still a mystery on how good he really is one note is that both his TD’s were thrown from the pocket. Looking forward to how he reacts under pressure and does he have enough volocity on his throws not to get picked off on the over the middle in traffic plays. Can’t wait for Friday I predict another win by a large margin. Keep scoring this O may have the potential to really put up some video game type numbers, trying to remember there is a lot of season left tho!!!

We’re just now beginning to see the fruits of head coach consistency on and off the field and in recruiting. I really get the feeling that those few remaining seniors have really bought in. Vinopol has really stepped up. Apparently he called a players only meeting before the DE game. There’s some special chemistry brewing in this locker room, regardless of this year’s win total.

Great stuff Reed. Wouldn’t have known that was even out there.

Seem like a good group of guys.

Looks like they like to have fun, but know what it means to get down to business.

All close to graduating, about to graduate or graduated already.

Excellent!!

Voytik isn’t a bad pocket passer he just needs to stay in longer. Two TDs will probably help him to understand that.

That is not a good sign to have a players only meeting before the Delaware game in my opinion. Sometimes leadership is a great thing and other times, great leaders need to get out of the way. Was there an indication that a players only meeting was necessary?

If it was a players only meeting after two losses in a row, that is one thing, but before Delaware? C’mon now. The head coach has that covered. Too many players are fighting daily for snaps. I think we and the media tend to create dramatics when it is not necessary. Thanks for the video on the team introductions. Well done senior citizens!

Carpe’ Eagles!

I get the feeling is a was a rally the troops-don’t-over-look-Delaware kind of thing, which clearly worked. But, I guess whether its good or bad is open to debate.

That’s what is was – Vinopal heard some comments about the lack of respect for Delaware so he called a team meeting… which is what captains do.

One of my favorite things about college football (and basketball) is watching the players grow. Ray Vinopal is a great example of that. There was a time when a lot of folks cringed when he was on the field. He really came into his own last year and now a team captain who is not afraid to use the “C” to assert some leadership. Good for him!
