Bad news for Chas everyone. I finally found the incriminating photos he has of me and was able to break free of the virtual shackles that go along with someone owning a picture of you in a speedo. Just kidding, no human being, my wife included, could even look at that picture long enough to consider using it as blackmail. Not that one exists (thankfully).
As I’m sure many of you have noticed, I’m writing for Pitt247 now. A friend introduced me to Greg Croft, the site publisher, and there was mutual interest in me joining the team. I’ll still be here from time to time, but less frequently. I’m very sad to leave. Chas has been a phenomenal benefit to me as a writer not only in helping me improve my craft, but by giving me the platform to get my name out there. If Chas is interested in taking on a new writer, you won’t find anyone more willing to let you express your thoughts without any interference. If he ever edited anything, it was probably to fix a stupid mistake I made.
Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks for listening to my rambling over the past year or so!

As well to everyone on the Blather. Merry Christmas
If going to Detoilet for the game check out Greektown and the ballet in Windsor Canada !!!
I take some small pride that this platform that led to this opportunity, but we all know. Justin earned this by his own skills and talent. That was the extent of my role in his move up in the writing food chain.
Justin kept me in the loop as this was happening. As I told him after he got the gig, I am just grateful that I/this site got to exploit his talents while I could.
My one regret was missing a couple chances to meet up with him before or after a game this year to have a drink with him. You know, actually meet the guy in person. Since he will be with 247, I am encouraged that this will happen in 2014.
Thank you Justin for the great writing and contributions. As you know, the door will always be open.

The Blather, as I’m sure Justin would agree, will be fine with Chas and Reed moving forward…
Merry Christmas to all.
Even though we have all been good little boys this year, not sure even Santa can deliver us a Pitt win tomorrow. But hell, Ralphie got his Red Ryder, so who knows….
