It has always perplexed me though, why the “Pittsburgh” is so smooshed in at the baselines and why no color on the sides?
You look at a lot of other courts, you see the color extending another 6 feet or so with broad letters and bold colors.
The sides too. Sure they’re covered up by the coaches and players a bit, but just comparing to other schools.
Almost like we have an aversion to color, paint, chalk and boldness down at Pitt.
They really need to hire an interior and exterior decorator for the athletic program!!!! LOL

Ahhh, someone didn’t get the memo.
Allthough it doesn’t tug at the heart strings, as a hockey fan, I can honestly say, if they had a scholarship team, I would get season tickets and go to as many games as possible.
Watched lots of college hockey, my nephew played for Robert Morris for 4 years.
Enjoyed the games quite a bit.
Dan, we’re all saying the court looks like an ice hockey rink with the white paint and all.
