A couple weeks ago I posted about meeting at Voodoo Brewery in Meadville this coming Sunday to sample some HTP IPA brewed up by one of our own. A tour and likely chance for some sampling are involve.
I know that there will be a small group coming in from Grove City. It’s looking good for me to make it out there. I may be a little late — was hoping to be there right around noon — but I should be there. I’ll be the guy walking in with a couple empty growlers. Really starting to wish I wasted money on this transport system.
Tyler Boyd with 16 pts in Clairtons loss to OLSH last night. I’m sure OLSH football coach and former Pitt QB, Billy Daniels had some encouraging words for Tyler after the game.
looking forward to having whoever can make it. i will give a tour for those interested and we will sample at least one of our bourbon barrel aged products. there is still some htp left, as well as 9 other drafts. we open at noon and i’ll hang out as long as needed, or at least until the pens game at 5.
I went through the video and saved him. I was going to press freak out but opted for the aed. In real life, I probably would have screwed up somehow and electrocuted him. Having a hot assistant helps.
Not to appear as a know it all, but I was astonished that the video failed to demonstrate the rescuer going through the accepted Red Cross protocol for initial assessment of the victim before beginning CPR. The video never showed how to check for breathing or for a pulse prior to beginning CPR.
Such misinformation is disquieting to say the least considering the source.
To be fair, if this video’s intent was to demonstrate the layperson “chest compressions only” technique then it accomplished an end. That is better than doing nothing. Still should have demonstrated how to check for breathing however, IMO.
