Got called in for a Saturday project at the last minute. So, I couldn’t make the trip to Pittsburgh. Not happy about it, I really, really don’t want to have to hear constant references to Beamer Ball on TV.
If you watched ESPN’s pre-game show last night before Washington St-UNLV, as they ran through key games they hit on the VT-Pitt game for all of 7 seconds. Basically, Mark May did not want to talk about this.
Not sure if I’ll be back home for kick-off so the DVR is set, and I may take a while to catch-up.
Hail To Pitt!!!!
Great game for reruiting…Hail to Pitt!!!
Where was this play the first two games of the season?
Hail to Pitt!
Oh yeh of little faith!
Well if Dorian Johnson was debating between Pitt and Virginia Tech, this should seal the deal. Fantastic game for potential Pitt recruits to see.
You know what Tino will probably F us in a few games this season but at least for today I congratualate him for a well played game and for a great effort. It was amazing to see some life on the Pitt sideline. Lots of energy early on.
Why can’t Tino just do this every week??? He wasn’t spectacular but he played very well and most of all he didn’t do anything stupid to lose the game. He dumped the ball when he needed to, hit the wide open receivers and made smart decisions….if he does this consistently this team can compete.
Congratulations to the Panthers. It would have been easy to go out there and flop but they played hard and played with some pride for a change.
Rushel Shell! Can’t wait to see more of this guy – he is special.
I can’t wait to have Shell and Voytik in the same backfield for (hopefully!) three years starting next season.
In 2 weeks this team lost to a D2 and looked listless, never had the lead and frankly embarrassed the University, to today. WTF
Life & football is sure strange.
HTP
Came up huge when the game was still in doubt after Tino threw the 4rth Quarter pick at 28-17.
They keep playing like that, and we continue to have the 1-2 punch in the backfield, Graham & Shell, this team could do some damage.
We shall see, inconsistency has been a hallmark of Pitt’s since 1983.
VEV
“It’s Mea Culpa time fellas.”
I second that with a “Neat” “Neat” “Neat” Third “Neat” for emphasis because it was a good day for a Pitt and its fans…
Hail to Pitt!
Was impressed with physical play of Shell. D line hit people. Harper got a mulligan today. Holding on Punt return, but it ain’t a penalty unless they throw a flag.
Attendance was lousy, but it should have been.
Shanahan catching TD after getting crushed on punt return was sweet revenge. Did I actually see linebackers reading the play?? Band sounded good. Pretty day. Pederson still must go. 3 RBs. When was the last time we had 3 legit runners? 74 will have a lot to work on this week.
Covered but what was the over/under?
