I suppose it is typical of the Big East. Only a couple days before the start of college football season… and it is time to release the Big East schedule for basketball.
The full schedule from Pitt will be released after 1pm.
The Big East and ESPN, though, have their TV schedule out.
Pitt has two Big Monday appearances this year. Bad news, both on the road. At Syracuse on January 16 and at WVU on January 30.
A quick count shows that Pitt has 12 Big East games out of 18 showing on the Mouse Monopoly.

No other FBS league releases their bball schedule the opening week of FOOTBALL SEASON.
No League or conference other than the BigEast.
The Football schools (really Pitt or WVU or combined need to exert some real influence in this conference.) We can’t expect L’Ville, Cincy, USF TCU to exert what is needed, it’s up to Pitt & WVU. Syracuse is not to be trusted, since they would have bolted to the ACC already, & UConn is with Cuse as is Rutgers.
Let’s be real.
Get my drift.
By my count, 12 of Pitt’s 18 BE conference games will be televised. From my prospective, that is pretty good. Your gripe, a lot of Monday night games are not televised? How many Big 9 games will we be privileged to watch this year?
I’m not griping about Pitt being televised, that’s good.
Look at the salary of Graham, a completely unproven coach, and compare it Dixon. Don’t ever say anything is ever a slap in the face to the football schools. Its outrageous what football programs get away with compared to b-ball. Melvin, I don’t mean to be a smart ass but your comment is ridiculous.
