Finally, sort of, slowly. You probably noticed this site was unavailable today. Or perhaps you caught me complaining on Twitter. The site had a second straight day of server issues.
This was a miserable issue — I’m told — and is still being worked on. So the site may go right back down.
Needless to say, I’m definitely looking forward to going to the Map Room for a beer and a chance to meet some other Pitt folk in the Cleveland area tonight.
story in PG – Trenton Coles a junoir at Clairton has wos won his second staight WPIAL 100 and 200 meters title, and set a meet record at the 200. He is also WR/DB who has offers fro Pitt and Wisconsin with interest from a few others … but Pitt is current favorite. Except for Desimon Green who baled to Tx Tech, Pitt has done well in getting commits from Clairton
Does the idea of running one’s tush off all game long turn off potential recruits? Is the no huddle foreign to Western PA’ers?
I don’t know. But maybe.
Phil Steele’s early top 30 is up and Pitt made an appearance at #27
Your first look at Phil Steele’s Pitt pages can be found here.
FWIW, I agreed with him last year as I said all along I didn’t understand Pitt being favored over WVU and UConn since they both had 7 more returning starters than Pitt. However, not sure I agree with him this year because despite Pitt having a lot of talent to work with, I believe there will be a big adjustment especially on offense … but if course hope I’m wrong
Enjoying some summer weather, but, can’t wait till September!!!
