That’s the first thing and most important. Pitt won the football game. It’s not like they stole it from USF. The Bulls did nothing to show they were the better team or really play the” but for X they would have won” card. It was ugly on both sides. Both teams gave a great effort to give the game away at points. So while the Big East was bathed in more stench and you can’t claim that things are rolling now, Pitt has the win and still sits atop the Big East.
Just to hit on a few things without looking at media or quotes after the game. Just the box score for accuracy. I know most of what follows will be negative, but I’m having a hard time finding that many positives without pointing out the problems that continue.
