Wanny and I believe his wife and a few asst coaches were right behind the plate at a Pirates game a few days ago …. at least for the first few innings … as usual, I didn’t watch much of it, and apparently, neither did he.
The part I saw in the 1st or 2nd inning, was watching the batter at the plate with Wanny feeding his face in the background. Glad he didn’t tweet about this.

i dont get this twitter thing either, but if the other coaches are doing it then why not do it. Any way to recruit is an advantage.

The NCAA has to step in at some point. It is only a matter of time before coaches make twitter pages for individual recruits rather than contact them through the general Pitt football page.

It took a little while for the NCAA to slap rules on email, then texting. I’m sure that twitter rules are already being discussed at HQ.
That being said — where can I get a lifesize fathead of “Zeus” Wanny striding over Pittsburgh?? I can use it to scare the beejeesus out of my daughter 🙂
