So I go to bed with Pitt winning and advancing to the Elite 8.
This morning I get up and my daughter has strep throat.
Been a bit preoccupied. Something relatively soon. I hope.

In other news…Will Clarke signed w/ WVU not Pitt. Disappointing considering that Pitt always seems to develop DE’s well, Bryan Knight, Claude Harriot, Jabal Sheard, Gregg Romeus. I looked for him to be a sleeper. At WVU I’m not sure the same is possible.

Chas,
Take care of your daughter..buy the “pink medicine” by the gallon!
Today’s a day of rest…
Hail to PITT!

It’s cool man, I figured that you were just all caught up in the moment. Apology accepted.
I’m so ready for tomorrow’s game, I’m going out drinking to calm down!
I hope the kid feels better Chas, and if not, pawn her off on your wife during the game!

Will the downtown Detroit hotels open up if favorites (like UNC) lose?

Make no Detroit plans until after the game. Never forget the Patriots-Steelers most recent AFC Championship Game. Steelers had half a day off to make plans for the SB, Pats said “We’ll worry about hotels if we win.” Pats won, found hotels, won the SB. Steelers’ hotel reservations didn’t help. In fact, karma Gods took note…

Per previous thread comments- my bad man. I was caught up in the moment and fielding phone calls, emails, text messages, and blog posts in a whirlwind of semi-drunken euphoria. The context of many of them was geographic pride. I’ll keep things in check next time.
Peace across the Pitt nation,
