As for the hoops team, if you’re going to play scrubs, at least blow them the hell out. I’m getting antsy for some better competition though.
Is there footage available of when the Sun Bowl reps went into the Pitt locker room to offer them a bid? In the paper, they said the players went apesh– when they walked in, and I think it’d be pretty cool to see.
I remember when I was kind of small back in the 80s, it was common this time of year for them to show teams getting invited to bowls by committee members in the locker room right after the game. It made for good TV, and I kind of miss it.
