There aren’t 25-top teams. There really aren’t. Way too many 3-loss teams on this list. But that’s because there aren’t that many 1-, 2-loss teams.

No, not a lot of movement this week. Just not a lot of shake-out in the top half.
Yes, especially this week am I not taking any chances.

More good news for us, Cincy is favored by 4.5…I like this game for us…under the lights, Prime Time…underdog. Cincy will see a steady diet of the same thing that SoFLA saw from our defense. We will bring pressure and force their QB to beat us.

Overall, I thought Cinci had more talent, but Louisville was better coached. Cinci going for it on 4th down at their own 28 yard line early in the game was pretty bizarre (they didn’t make it). I’m a bit concerned that Pitt doesn’t match up well against Cinci. They have big, fast receivers and cornerbacks. Could be a repeat of the Pitt/Rutgers game if we don’t scheme the defense well. Baldwin will be blanketed. We will need to be patient and dink it. On the plus side, Cinci’s quarterbacks are beat up.

Anyone know where and when the Nagurski finalists will be announced (I mean posted online)? I believe it was at some point today…

Cincy seems a bit high at 16 there.
But like you said, who else deserves to be there? No one really.

Did anyone else notice that Michigan State jumped over Pitt in the basketball AP poll? I mean, Michigan St is averaging 110 points per game, but isn’t it a little early to be making these kinds of switches?

i dont understand that either, but duke also dropped 2 or 3 spots and they are 3-0.

I saw that as well. Basically, just keep winning and stay in the top 10 and someone is bound to fux up. I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a few top ten upsets before the month is done.

Duke got a game handed to them when Kyle Singler went into “not capable of committing a foul” mode in the last two minutes. They lose that game if its anywhere other than Cameron Indoor. And they wonder why they break down late in the year the past couple of years…

-I like that you’re selling Georgia.
-Ball State shouldn’t even be ranked. They haven’t even played the two best teams in their conference yet and they have only played 1 team with a winning record (6-4 Navy). 1! I would give you huge props if you could tell me with a straight face that Ball State could beat Mizzou, or even UConn.
-BYU over TCU…no no no no no. TCU lost to your #5 team in a better game than anyone has given them but UT, and your #7 by 3 points. BYU got destroyed by TCU 32-7! 32-7!

Cinci also seemed to get pretty banged up during the game. Not sure if that will be a factor or not, especially with Pitt having a bye.
