Prediction; Pitt will win only 2 more games this season, further reinforcing Wanny’s lack of ability to coach.

I hope your prediction is true because a debacle like that would force Wanny’s firing but if his close to .500 record they may keep him around and extend the suffering for another year.

That’s the single best reason to attend a live game that I’ve ever heard.

This is a must win people. I would have never thought that back in JUne. On paper we should roll over this team, with the recurits we have gotten in the past 4 years. But the big question is will the coach get the palyers in postion to win the game? If he doesnt we are going to maybe win three more games. If he does (some how, he’s only been coach is whole life) than I think it could be a nice season as anticipated. I cant believe were talking about him getting fired with the type of recurits he has. What a waste. If he is fired after this year then he shoul be asshamed to have even coached here. If Skip Holtz is coaching this team (or many others) this team is 3-0 and is about 19th to 17th in the country. What is going to give Saturday? If the negative gives than is obvious that Wanny should be gone.

Wanny should be a figure head like joe pa.. and just recruit.. and have somebody else coach.. and get rid of cavanaugh.

Even worse for people in Iowa…not only will they be unable to attend the game, but they’ll have the pleasure of Pam Ward infecting their TV screens at 11 in the morning!

9 am with Pam Ward! What a treat for those of us on the West Coast! I’m muting the game. I have hundreds of MP3s that, randomly selected, will be more insightful about what’s going on and less grating than Pam Ward during breakfast.

Okay you talked me into it. I’m coming out for the game. Hope ya all stay home so I can scalp some good tickets. But like you, I’m not real optimistic either, Iowa may have a good paper defense (2.5 points per game allowed) BUT you need to score too.

This is Iowa’s fault. Pam Ward has called like 70% of the Iowa games the last three years of so. Last year she called three in a row. Now you can share our pain for one week.
