Hillgrove just mentioned that Wannamaker and Diggs made halfcourt shots in the shoot-around today. I find it hard to believe that either of those guys made a shot.

Opening possession was a Gil Brown 3 attempt. Why??? How can we not get the bigs involved right away? Their team’s leading shot blocker has 14. Its not like they’ve got Okafor defending the rim. Three straight times taking it to the rim resulted in buckets. Exactly my point.

And i like that Dixon took Blair out after his first foul and made him sit for a while…he’s back in now, but i’d rather make him think about why he’s on the bench instead of having to sit him cause of foul trouble…

Have we ever defended a pick and roll before? That was the most awful defense i’ve ever seen…if it wasn’t for St Johns turnovers, this would be much closer, if they weren’t winning…we’ve definitely had some terrible lapses in there…

I wouldn’t say their D is shitty in the half court, but they seem to forget to block out a lot, and we had a few transition buckets, but they’ve also stopped a lot of transition breaks…we’re shooting 45%, they’re shootin 50%…too bad for them they turned it over around a dozen times…

Gilbert Brown looks amazing at times. I think next season he is going to be more consistent through his games. Up by 11 at the garden is great right now.

Mostly young, sometimes brown, sometimes he gets switched on Ramon who chases him or gets shot over…its just been an overall poor effort…it’s he’s killing everyone one on one, we need to come with a double team or some help…make him give it up…no one else has more than 4 points…

was at the Garden tonight…wow, what a poor turnout. have to say even during St. John’s downfall during the second half still some things happening that i didn’t like.. BUT we came out with a WIN.
