So Chris Ball leaves Pitt after one season to go back to an old haunt.

Former Washington State University secondary coach Chris Ball will return to the Cougars’ sideline next season.

New WSU coach Paul Wulff announced Friday that Ball would be coming back to join his defensive staff.

Ball spent three years as WSU’s secondary coach from 200-02.

I’m not even going to speculate on what happens next for the coaching staff.

to add more validity to the PSI report, Hale is committing to Pitt… HALE TO PITT (i had to)

Validity? Like everybody didn’t know for a week that Hale was coming to Pitt. The truth is, he even admits he didn’t even tell the Pitt coaches yet at the time PSI reported it so they were still wrong about it, and Holley didn’t commit yet either so they were wrong about that, too. If they said both were expected to commit, then fine, but they didn’t. They jumped the gun and said both committed.

FYI, but Hafley (GA who worked with Ball the past two years) will be elevated to the secondary coach position. A lot of people liked him and think he will be good for he program.

Expect Dunn’s announcement to not be to far off in the future and it seems like Tony Wise, New York Jets OL coach, may be the guy for Pitt (though Art Kehoe would be a much better pick).
