If you thought it was early for top 25 basketball polls, then this is going to seem like talking about something way too early. Almost as bad as playing holiday music in early November.
Joe Lunardi, ESPN’s “expert” bracketologist, has Pitt in the #7 seed slot.
Nope, it’s not to early for this garbage at all.
I wonder why both teams slid down (blue arrow). Is he projecting a poor showing in the conference tournaments? Any chance he will have his 2009 brackets out in the next month or so?

We got screwed. Pitt should be at least a #5 seed!

What did this idiot do, roll a couple of twenty-sided dungeons and dragons dice to get his bracket? It is totally useless. I guess he has to write about something, they are paying him after all.

Hey does anyone know if PSU made the cut for next year?

PSU? Let me consult an NIT bracketologist and get back to you.

Tough draw for the Panthers. This sets up a tough second round matchup with Georgia Tech.

Don’t worry about G-tech, Dejuan Blair will school them(20 points, 10 boards) and Wannamaker will lock down defensively.

Yuri Demetris will also be admitted back onto the team for his final year of eligibility and will hit the winning 3 (and 1) at the buzzer to put Pitt into overtime.
